Vida V2 Plus vs Pro in July 2026: is the larger battery worth paying for?
Hero Vida’s current V2 range has two variants, Plus and Pro. Both use the same electric motor and share the core chassis and display, while the buyer decision is mainly about battery capacity, claimed range, performance and equipment.
The V2 Plus is the entry point after the Lite variant was removed from the current line-up. It uses two removable 1.72 kWh battery units (3.44 kWh total), has a claimed IDC range of 143 km, and has a claimed 0–80 percent portable-home-charger time of 5 hours 15 minutes. Current/listed price and range claims should be checked with a local Vida dealer before booking, especially where state incentives or on-road charges apply.
| Variant | Status | Buyer relevance | Price status |
|---|---|---|---|
| Vida V2 Plus | Current entry variant | 3.44 kWh removable battery; claimed 143 km IDC range | Current/listed price—verify locally |
| Vida V2 Pro | Current higher variant | Consider if its battery/range and equipment fit the daily route and charging plan | Current/listed price—verify locally |
For a daily city commute, would the extra outlay make more sense for usable range, charging flexibility and equipment—or would the Plus cover the route with enough reserve? Please compare your daily kilometres, home or workplace charging, service access and total on-road budget rather than relying on a claimed-range figure alone.
