So how do the Amo Mobility Jaunty Pro's 'smart' features fare compared to the competition?

by Sukhmandeep Kaurover 1 year ago0 views7 comments
The Jaunty Pro has app connectivity, GPS tracking, and a digital instrument cluster among other smart features. But there’s been some debate around how these features actually perform in real world conditions compared to other smart e scooters in the market. The app has proven reliability has also been reported to vary as have the GPS tracking and the responsiveness of the digital display. But some say these smart features are really more gimmick than practical, while others swear by them for their daily commute. This also includes a discussion about importance of software updates, and if these updates are taking place as Amo Mobility listens to its users. That has raised broader questions about what role smart technology plays in electric scooters and whether it adds any real value or simply drives up the price.

Updates have improved the smart features I've noticed. It’s promising that Amo seems to be listening to feedback. If they continue on this path, the Jaunty Pro could really be a smart scooter contender.

At the price point, I think the smart features are fair. Of course, these aren't the top of the line, but they do offer some nice convenience without killing your wallet.

Digital cluster is pretty neat, if only a bit more customizable. I wish I could change the layout or add widgets like some of the higher end scooters.

I actually like that the smart features aren’t too in your face. They’re there whenever you need them, but you don’t have to fiddle with an app or touchscreen all the time if you don’t want to.

The smart features on the Jaunty Pro feel a bit half baked compared to my friend’s Ather. But they work, they just don't work smoothly or intuitively. They need to beef up their software game.

Honestly, I find most of the smart features just more trouble than they’re worth. The app is buggy, and I can’t connect to it. I'd rather have a good basic scooter than a crappy smart one.

I have been using the GPS tracking on my Jaunty Pro as a saviour. The other time I forgot where I parked in a crowded area, the app took me right to it. For me alone, that makes the smart features worth it.
