Let’s see how the Avenger 160 Street fares in long distance touring.
This is why the Avenger 160 Street is often marketed as a comfortable cruiser, which makes some riders think about using the bike on longer trips and touring. But its small engine begs the question whether it can really haul itself down the highway and be comfortable over long distances. Riders argue whether the relaxed ergonomics and fuel economy compensate for the anemic power on the open road. Discussions also take place around the bike's stability at high speed, wind protection and the ability to carry luggage for multi day journeys. While some owners have successfully modified their Avengers for touring, others feel that it's just not made for that kind of riding. Potential buyers are left wondering whether the Avenger 160 can actually take on long distance travels or is it better to stick to city and short highway rides.

On mine, I’ve done a few 500km+ trips. It's doable, but not ideal. You have to plan your route carefully, and take regular breaks because of the bike's limitations.

It's all about expectations. It can be a fun way to explore if you’re okay with a laid back pace and sticking to secondary roads. It’s not a highway cruiser, however.

Absolutely not for touring. Because the tank is small, you have to stop often, and the vibrations at higher speeds get old in a hurry. Instead, save up for a proper touring bike.

With some mods, it can work! Throw a windscreen, a better seat, and some luggage on it and it becomes a pretty decent light tourer. Just backroads, backroads, backroads, enjoy the journey.

Weekend getaways are okay but I would not do any serious touring. After a few hours on the highway, the lack of wind protection becomes a real issue.

I wouldn't recommend it. On the highways, the 160cc engine struggles more with luggage. On long trips you'll be constantly revving it and that gets tiring.

Surprisingly good for touring! You can sit there for hours without getting sore, nice comfortable riding position. You won't break any speed records, though.
