Is the Tata Super ACE Mint really the ‘Chhota Hathi’ for last mile delivery?
by Ashutoshover 1 year ago0 views7 comments
Many urban areas have come to know the Tata Super ACE Mint as the mini-truck for last-mile delivery. Compact enough and easy to maneuver, it is known as Chhota Hathi (the little elephant). Does it really live up to this title, though? Many drivers claim it is a blessing when it comes to driving through the skinny streets or haircut corners, while other drivers will tell you they have newer competitors with better features. It is often debated for its payload capacity, fuel efficiency and reliability in daily urban delivery scenarios. It also discusses how it stacks up against the electric alternatives that are coming online in the last mile delivery space. Is the Super ACE Mint still king of the urban jungle with changing urban landscapes, or is it time for a new super hero?

I wish Tata would update their Super ACE Mint, but I love mine. Fuel costs in stop and go traffic would be amazing in a hybrid version.

It is the future of the electric alternatives. The Super ACE Mint is great, but EVs will be taking over last mile delivery soon enough.

It depends on your route. It is still king for super tight urban deliveries. For longer routes, there are better options now, with more comfort features.

The Super ACE Mint is reliable, you can’t beat it. Mine has 100,000 km on it and have had very few problems. Plain and simple, it’s a workhorse.

Chhota Hathi? More like Chhota Headache! Maintenance costs are too high for newer models. It's living on past glory.

It's good, but it's not the best any more. The Mahindra Jeeto has better mileage and a better cabin. The Super ACE Mint is outdated now.

Absolutely! Last mile delivery is unbeatable with Super ACE Mint. I have been driving one for 3 years and it is a beast in narrow lanes. The turning radius is insane!
