Is the Aprilia Tuono V4 1100 Factory too much for street use?
The Aprilia Tuono V4 1100 Factory is a track focused performance machine with high end components. But many riders have wondered if it’s streetable enough for everyday use. It’s powerful and has advanced features, some say it’s too much for public roads, others say it’s versatile enough to enjoy both on track and street. Its powerful V4 engine, advanced electronics package as well as its premium Öhlins suspension are factors to consider. Other aspects we discuss are the bike's ergonomics, fuel efficiency and practicability in urban environment. This was also where opinions diverged based on primarily street oriented riders opinions because the cost of maintenance and even reliability could impact whether it's a wise thing to do.

But I'd argue that it's perfect for the street. It's more practical in the upright position with wide bars than a full on sport bike, but still all that performance when you want it.

It's overkill in every best way. It’s more than you need, but that’s what makes it special. Each ride is an event.

Not overkill at all! The Tuono is a versatile machine. It’s track ready but still comfortable enough for long rides. It is adaptable to any road condition thanks to the electronic suspension.

Mine I’ve had for daily use, and it’s amazing, but I think it’s overkill. It’s hard to justify as a pure street bike because of the maintenance costs and fuel consumption.

It's overkill, depending on your definition of "overkill." The Tuono Factory is the ultimate street bike experience if that’s what you’re after. It's not practical, that's not what it's meant to be. It's about the thrill.

It’s a bit much for everyday riding, I’d say. It's intoxicating power, but you can't really use all of it on public roads. It's also not very good on fuel economy if you are commuting.

Absolutely not! On the street, the Tuono V4 Factory is a beast. Yes, it's got insane power, but the electronics make it surprisingly manageable. It’s a superbike with more comfier ergonomics.
