The 500-horsepower V10 engine is a marvel, with immediate throttle response and a soundtrack thats as close to a real racecar as you can get on the street. However, the outdated single-clutch SMG automated manual transmission can be a bit of a letdown, often lurching on upshifts. Despite this, the M6 handles aggressively with its taut chassis and wide tires, although the steering feel can be somewhat numb, which is unusual for a BMW. The interior is top-notch, with excellent materials and the revised iDrive system making navigation and other functions much more intuitive. Overall, if youre looking for a high-performance coupe that delivers on power and handling, the 2010 BMW M6 is hard to beat, but it comes with some quirks that might not appeal to everyone.
