Expert opinion and recommendation

The ride was uncomfortable, it grew too hot for us, and the jerky throttle response frequently got on our nerves. The new one has a smoother ride, but the back still jolts. In stop-and-go traffic, the engine heat continues to be a nuisance. Additionally, the throttle response still needs to be adjusted.

The BS-IV standards went into effect on April 1, 2017, and as a result, Ducati has terminated a number of bikes in India. The Panigale 1299, Monster 821, and Ducati Scrambler are a few of the bikes that have been retired. However, it is said that this cessation is only a temporary measure because replacements for the above bikes would soon be introduced in India.

Ducati Scrambler Classic is an off-road friendly version in the company lineup, carrying spoke wheels for improved grip and safety while driving on rough surfaces. It comes with the same 803cc, 2-cylinder motor producing 75 HP at 8250 rpm and 68 Nm at 5750 rpm. The seat height claimed here is 790 mm while Ducati offers dual purpose tyres for added fun on its Scrambler.
