Yamaha has officially showcased the R15 Version 3.0 in Thailand. The bike was unveiled at an event by Yamaha Racing’s MotoGP rider, Maverick Vinales. This confirms the launch of R15 V3 in Thailand in coming days. As of now, Yamaha has not announced anything officially regarding the launch of R15 Version 3.0 in India as it is expected to be here after 6-8 months. It is expected with an ex-showroom price tag of INR 1.25-1.30 lakhs.

The all-new 2017 R15 is powered by a 155.1cc engine, which develops maximum power of 19.04 BHP @ 10000 rpm and maximum torque of 14.7 NM @ 8500 rpm. Yamaha Officially Showcases R15 Version 3 in Thailand

Yamaha YZF-R15 V3.0 gets all-LED headlamp, all-digital instrument console, slipper and assist clutch, but it doesn’t get the much needed ABS (Anti-lock Braking System), not even as an option! R15 V3 is more powerful (19.04 BHP) in comparison to the Version 2.0 (16.8 BHP), but the new model develops less torque (14.7 Nm) than V2.0 (15 Nm). Yamaha R15 V3 will be available in 3 shades: Racing Blue, Matte Black and Matte Red.
