2025 Tata Tiago Launched at Rs. 5 Lakh: New Features & Tiago EV Details

The 2025 Tata Tiago has been launched by Tata Motors with major updates and a starting price of Rs.5 lakh (ex-showroom). Both the petrol and electric variants of the refreshed model feature a slew of new design elements and features.

Key Updates for 2025 Tiago

Exterior Enhancements:

• LED headlights and LED DRLs.
• Redesigned front grille.
• New shark fin antenna, High trims feature 15-inch dual-tone alloy wheels.

Interior and Technology Upgrades:

• A 10.25-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system .
• Android Auto and Apple Car Play connectivity via wireless.
• An updated digital instrument cluster .
• New twin-spoke steering wheel with illuminated Tata logo.
• Dual-tone seat upholstery with a grey-beige dashboard.

Safety Improvements:

• ESC added.
• As standard, there are dual front airbags, ABS with EBD and rear parking sensors.

Variant Lineup and Pricing

The 2025 Tiago is offered in five main variants:

• XE: Rs.5 lakh.
• XM: Rs.5.70 lakh.
• XT: Rs.6.30 lakh.
• XZ: Rs.6.90 lakh.
• XZ Plus: Rs.7.30 lakh.
• The iCNG variants command the same price as the petrol variants but start Rs.1 lakh higher.

Tiago EV Updates

The electric version of the Tiago also receives significant updates for 2025: Redesigned front grille and 14-inch, aerodynamically designed alloy wheels. EV-specific badges on front doors. Six-way adjustable driver's seat and leatherette-wrapped steering wheel (top trims).

• The Tiago EV continues to offer two battery pack options:
• 19.2 kWh: 250 km range.
• 24 kWh: 315 km range.
• Cruise control and 6-way adjustable driver's seat.
• The ex-showroom pricing for the 2025 Tiago EV begins at Rs.7.99 lakh.

Powertrain Options

The 2025 Tiago retains its existing engine options:

• Petrol: 1. A 2-liter, 3-cylinder engine (86 hp, 113 Nm) is installed.
• iCNG: Available on select variants.
• Electric: As cited above, two battery pack choices: The petrol and iCNG versions can be had with either a 5-speed manual or AMT gearbox.
• Tata Motors has announced these comprehensive updates to strengthen the Tiago's hold in the entry-level hatch as well as in the electric vehicle space.
