Prosche has launched the updated 911 Range, termed as 911.2 in India. The cars starts from INR 1.42 Crore, and cover Carrera plus Turbo models with their respective S, Cabriolet and Targa variants. The updated models are now powered by turbocharged engines instead of the the naturally aspirated ones on the older generations. The Carrera models are powered by a 2981cc, flat six and twin turbocharged engine producing 370 HP and 450 Nm of torque. The Carrera S gets the same engine with 420 HP and 500 Nm of torque. A seven speed dual clutch transmission power the rear wheels of the car. The Turbo range comes with the same 3.8 L turbocharged unit but this time it produces much more power than  before. The 911 Turbo Standard produces 540 HP and 660 Nm of torque while the Turbo S has 580 HP and 700 Nm of torque. Not just that, the cars now comes with an option of full LED headlamps, new tail lamp cluster, wider rear tyres, new engine cover and a new touchscreen infotainment system.
