The much awaited smartphone, Nokia 6 (official name for D1C) has been launched in China for 1699 yuan (INR 16,740 approx). The phone will be exclusive to China currently and available only through JD.com. Nokia 6 comes with a 5.5 inch, full HD display and 4 GB of RAM. The phone is powered by an Octa-core Snapdragon 430 processor while the software used is Android 7.0 Nougat.
Nokia 6 comes as the first phone after HMD Global bought the rights to use Nokia brand name on smartphones worldwide. The phone packs 16 MP rear camera with PDAF, 1.0 um sensor and LED flash. The front camera on use is an 8 MP unit with 84 degree wide lens. The display is 2.5D curved glass and brings Gorilla Glass 3 for enhanced protection.

The phone offers 64 GB of internal memory while the 4 GB RAM is a great option to have in the current generation smartphones. It was quite disappointing for the fans worldwide that the release has been limited to China only. There has been no news on the launch of the Nokia 6 in India while it is expected that it may get into local production at a later stage. Apart from these, other important features on the Nokia 6 includes fingerprint sensor on home button, aluminum unibody design, dual smart amplifier with dual speakers, 4G LTE and 3000 mAh battery. The phone is currently offered in Black shade only. It measures 154 x 75.8 while carries a thickness of just 7.8 mm.
