The infotainment screen appears to flow down into the centre console. The inclusion of ADAS features on both the Hector and Hector Plus is the most notable feature. The iSmart infotainment software and the 7.0-inch digital instrument cluster have also been updated by MG.

The 1.5-litre petrol engine is shared by the Hector and Hector Plus SUVs. It comes with either a 6-speed manual or an automatic CVT transmission. This unit produces 143 hp and has a peak torque of 250Nm. The diesel engine is the same 170hp, 350Nm, 2.0-litre unit that powers the Harrier, Safari, and Compass.
