Auto Lover and Maruti Ofcourse I am. The Maruti Dzire has always been one of the compact sedans that I have had a soft spot for over a few years now that it was actually officially considered. At looking at the plans of the 2024 Dzire, I can say that there are some changes which make me particularly waiting for some specific models.

From my point of view, Maruti has always tried to upgrade their provide technology after the technology with additional duty as not to spend more on the Indian market. I am sure that new Dzire will have even more new features and technology than it has now. What should we be seeing? Let us look more closely.

Exterior Changes

I never fathomed there will be a major change to Dzire: The current is perfect to me in terms of proportions. I also expect a couple of styling tweaks like new bumper, clear and nice headlamps etc.

For an owner having to tame a couple of ‘speed breakers’, I hope they shave a little margin in the ground clearance to make that easier. Mostly speaking, small incremental changes can do a great deal to make the exterior of the house attractively and functionally appealing for most of the buyers and they do it during the regular use.

Interior Upgrades

This is where I am truly looking forward to the 2024 Dzire really thriving. We would not experience (I doubt) much more than replacing what has never been there — essentially a fundamentally reshaped space — with far more enhanced material and textural elements. So it shouldn't be new car smell new seat fabrics and accent trims most especially.

On the technology side though, it’s not a total bust as I would not be surprised if it didn’t arrive with its new SmartPlay infotainment system with the Apple CarPlay and Android Auto being included as standard. Almost to the point of being an essential item for sedans shopping, one seamlessly connectivity of the devices has become almost a must have item for customers. We'd also be finders in anything like more car chargers and some extra storage compartments.

Powertrain Options

Cess that global Maruti may hedge and progress with 1.2 L petrol even more weight managed and integrated friction. A turbo petrol or mild hybrid could also be on the way too as India's already supporting a rising wave of environmental consciousness.

Someone’s sure to come back for the sweet 5-speed manual for another year. With it I’m sure Maruti will include auto transmission on most of the trims this round as it makes driving in slow traffic much smoother.

Safety & Practicality

Over the last few years Maruti has definitely increased the safety features notch up on cars like Swift Dzire even at entry level. Top of the list will be side curtain airbags, parking cameras, which can be provided by radar or cameras, and hill hold assist. The first thing that any automobile manufacturer undertakes and does should be Safety.

That's why I hoped for increased knee, shoulder, headroom at the rear seat passengers. This would also be true of four power windows, with lockout switches that would toggle from luxury to standard feature. Maruti knows this car has to do everything so it’s got to be a city runabout and comfort is a big one.

Summing It Up

And as for me, Maruti looks like it’s ready to push the 2024 Dzire into the bigger slot of best ever compact sedan. I consider an essentially 'good enough' vehicle for aspiring young nuclear Indians – one that’s a practical advancement at a low cost, plus that appealing young brand image.

After following Maruti cars for a while now, 2024 Dzire seems to be a quantum advancement forward. These five passenger sedans that can integrate today's onboard technology with lighter more powerful engines are just the right thing for me. I am looking forward to an exciting test drive once it hits the market and I can still say that I still have one such to look forward to.
