Mahindra has unveiled five highly anticipated electric SUVs. The five born EVs will be sold under two new sub-brands, XUV.e and BE, and will be based on the brand's new INGLO EV skateboard platform.

For the time being, the XUV.e will have two models, the XUV.e8 and XUV.e9, while the BE will have three SUVs, the BE.05, BE.07, and BE.09. The XUV.e range will go on sale first, with the XUV.e8 set to arrive in December 2024, followed by the first BE models in October 2025.

The BE.05 coupe-SUV, which will go on sale in October 2025, kicks off the BE lineup. The BE.05, dubbed a Sports Electric Vehicle (SEV), has an aggressive front end with angular C-shaped headlights, large air dams, sharp cuts and creases, and a prominent air duct on the bonnet.

The interior of the BE.05 is decidedly driver-focused, with the centre console neatly dividing the driver and passenger areas. The large twin touchscreens and a two-spoke steering wheel are interior highlights. It also has a rotary gear lever control and a large gear selector.

Mahindra will release the production version of the BE.07 SUV in October 2026. The BE.07 is a traditional SUV design, as opposed to the BE.05, which has a coupe-SUV profile. BE.07 previews a technologically advanced and practical cabin with a massive touchscreen and a large panoramic sunroof.

The BE.09 is the final model in Mahindra's BE line, and it, like the BE.05, is a coupe-SUV. However, Mahindra has yet to reveal the BE.09 concept's dimensions or an estimated timeline. The BE.09 appears to be the coupe version of the BE.07 and, as such, will be at the top of the BE lineup.
