The Hero Xpulse 200T facelift has been spotted for the first time unmasked, and the launch could be imminent. When compared to the previous model, it is a significant improvement in terms of design and looks particularly appealing in the red shade.

The most noticeable changes are a new body-coloured headlight visor and chunky fork boots. Both not only have a sporty appearance but also have the feel of a big bike. The front crash guards have also been redesigned.

While the rest of the bike's details are obscured by the single image, the new dual-tone red colour with gloss black graphics has been confirmed. The front petal disc, indicators, and headlight are all direct replacements for the previous model.

The exhaust has a grey finish as opposed to the gold finish of the previous model. There are some red bits on the engine head, similar to the recently launched Xpulse 200 4V Rally Edition, implying that the bike could be a new edition of the sport tourer.

The facelifted model is expected to retain the existing 200cc oil-cooled powertrain, which produces 17.8 HP at 8500 RPM and 16.15 Nm at 6500 RPM and is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The Hero Xpulse 200T facelift version will be suspended on the diamond frame.

As per the suspension duties, 37mm shocks up front and a 276mm disc brake, a mono-shock and a 220mm disc at the rear just like the previous model. The seat is 800mm high, the ground clearance is 178mm, and the kerb weight is 154 kilograms.

Hero MotoCorp is expected to release the new XPulse 200T in the coming weeks. The price may rise slightly, but only marginally. When it is released, it will compete with the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V, Bajaj Pulsar N250, Yamaha FZ25, and others.
