Under the hood, the most powerful version of the hatchback is powered by a turbocharged 1199cc 3-cylinder petrol engine, which churns out a maximum power of 110PS at 5,500 rpm, and maximum torque of 140 Nm at 1,500 to 5,500 rpm. This is 28% more power and 24% more torque as compared to the hatchback’s naturally-aspirated petrol engine. For now, the Altroz iTurbo is available with a 5-speed manual transmission and as per the details available, Tata will launch the DCT version of Altroz iTurbo later this year.
The Altroz iTurbo can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in just 13 seconds. The hatchback is available with five colour options: Harbour Blue, Downtown Red, Avenue White, High Street Gold, and Midtown Grey. Some of the key features of the car include auto headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, a tilt steering wheel, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, and a wearable key.
The infotainment system of the Altroz iTurbo also lets the users select personalized wallpaper through Doodle personalized wallpaper. This step is initiated when the ConnectNext app and Infotainment system are connected. One can set a personalized sticker and startup image.
Some of the other features include cruise control, Intelligent Real-time Assist (IRA), voice tech that responds to over 70 commands and controls, a push-button start-stop system with smart key, and 3 words for location specifics.
