The Lexus LM 300h was one of the show stoppers at the 2019 Shanghai Motor Show. It is the first ever Multi-Purpose Vehicle (MPV) by the brand. Toyota’s luxury arm, Lexus is all set to launch the MPV in China as well as selected Asian markets by the end of this year. Based on Toyota Alphard, the Lexus MPV will be available in 2 variants: LM 350 and LM 300h.
The former has been equipped with a 3.5-litre petrol engine while the latter gets a 2.5-litre, 4-cylinder hybrid engine that offers a combined maximum power figure of 218HP. It is expected that Lexus will introduce its luxurious MPV in India at an ex-showroom price tag between INR 75-85 lakh, focusing specifically on the business class customers.

One of the intriguing features of the MPV is its front profile that features a Lexus touch. The foursquare exterior with a massive front grille featuring sleek LED headlamps as well as unique LED DRLs gives the MPV a luxurious stance while the chrome detailing on the fog lamps adds onto its superior appeal.
The chrome inserts flow all the way to the back of the MPV though its side profile still resembles the Toyota Alphard. Muscular wheel arches and the dual tone alloy wheels give it a distinguished look. The Lexus LM MPV is available in four and seven-seat configurations.

The interior of the SUV is something that sets it apart from the crowd and shrieks of luxury. Focusing on the jet aeroplane style, the four-seat configuration of the MPV will attract the crowd for sure. Separated with a glass from the front cabin, the rear of the Lexus LM gets a full-sized home theatre for the entertainment purposes. The fine leather-clad seats and the wood finish gives the MPV an extravagant look. The flashy interiors defining the Lexus' luxurious approach is something to look out for.
The separation glass used inside the cabin gets a noise reducing feature while the other opulent feature list includes Mark Levinson 19-speaker audio system, a 26-inch television, a 14-litre refrigerator, and an all-touch display for the AC, climate control and audio control. If and when launched in India, the MPV will compete in the market with the likes of Mercedes-Benz V-Class.
