Hyundai Creta Sports Edition Launched in India @ INR 12.78 Lakh

The increasingly overwhelming competition in the mid-size SUV segment is a matter of concern for the major automakers that have already established their roots in the market with some of the premium offerings in the same segment. To stay ahead in the competition, Hyundai is taking the game to a whole new level with the launch of a limited edition variant for its best selling SUV Creta. Being called as the Hyundai Creta Sports Edition, the new edition of the SUV gets a host of cosmetic changes as well as some premium features.
The Hyundai Creta Sports Edition gets a price tag of INR 12.78 lakh for the 1.6L petrol MT version while the price goes all the way up to INR 14.13 lakh for the 1.6L diesel MT version. The SUV is only available with manual gearbox options while gets two colour schemes in the Indian market namely: Phantom Black and Polar White. The Polar White Edition of the SUV features a Phantom Black roof and gets a premium of INR 11,000 over the standard version.
Coming to the outer profile, the Hyundai Creta Sports Edition gets projector headlights and features a silvery effect. The front grille of the SUV gets a dark chrome finish while the silver roof rails add on to its beauty. The Creta Sports features chrome detailing on the faux exhaust system while gets a black coloured rear spoiler.
In terms of interior, the Hyundai Creta Sports Edition gets an all-black detailing with black fabric seats. The seats of the SUV further features a “Creta” moniker embossed on them while gets contrast stitching.
In addition to these, the brand has opted for a leather-wrapped steering wheel with contrast stitching for the limited edition SUV. One of the best features that sets it apart from the standard variant is the addition of the electric sunroof. The Sports Edition of the SUV gets all the premium features available in the SX variant of the standard Creta in addition to the above-mentioned feature additions.
The SUV features the same 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless smartphone charging capabilities, automatic climate control, cruise control and more.
The Hyundai Creta Sports Edition gets a premium of INR 54,000-INR 60,000 over the standard SX variant, all thanks to the premium feature list and a host of cosmetic changes. The brand hasn't offered any mechanical changes to Sports Edition.
