The key features of 2020 Honda City ZX, the highest-spec variant of the upcoming sedan have recently leaked online. The feature list of the top-spec sedan has been revealed via a leaked brochure ahead of its official launch which has been indefinitely halted due to the nationwide lockdown in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. Article image Coming to the leaked features, the top-spec sedan variant has been equipped with all-LED headlight and taillight setup on the safety front in addition to getting six-airbags, hill start assist system, traction control, electronic stability control and more. The brand has equipped the ZX trim with a low-tyre-pressure warning system in addition to offering a reverse camera. The brand has also offered the middle passenger of the second row with a three-point seat belt system. For the first time in India, the Honda City variant will come equipped with Civic-inspired lane-watching camera that has been shod over the left-wing mirror and will offer the footage onto the centre screen. It is mainly used to keep the vehicle safe while someone is overtaking from the wrong side. Article image The brand has equipped the 2020 Honda City ZX variant with an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system that is compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Apart from this, the sedan will feature Alexa Remote voice assistance, the first for the Indian markets. The brand has further equipped the top-spec variant of the sedan with Honda Connect, an app-based connecting technology to offer multiple additional functionalities. Article image The ZX trim has been further equipped with a 7.0-inch, full-coloured, HD MID with an analogue tachometer and speedometer unit on either side of the digital screen. Inspired by the performance cars, the brand has equipped the sedan with a G-meter that measures the cornering forces. The sedan gets steering-mounted audio and cruise controls as well as a physical rotary knob for the climate control unit. Article image Apart from this, the cabin will feature premium leather seats and upholstery in addition to getting a panoramic sunroof. The 2020 Honda City ZX will be available to the customers with BS6-compliant 1.5-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engines, mated to manual as well as CVT automatic transmission as an option. One can expect the upcoming fifth-gen Honda City to be priced around INR 10 lakh - INR 15 lakh in the Indian markets and compete against the likes of Hyundai Verna, Skoda Rapid, Volkswagen Vento, Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, and the Toyota Yaris.
