New Ford Endeavour Sport Launched in India: Ford has officially launched the much-anticipated Endeavour Sport in the Indian markets with an ex-showroom price tag of INR 35.10 lakhs. Based on the top-spec variant of Endeavour, the Sport model is priced INR 65,000 higher in comparison to the Titanium+ 4x4 model, which is currently available with an ex-showroom price tag of INR 34.45 lakhs.
Vinay Raina, executive director of marketing, sales & service at Ford India, said - “Ford Endeavour Sport in black makes a bold statement – whether it is your regular commute during the week or your off-road adventure during the weekend.”
Mechanically, Ford Endeavour Sport 4x4 is powered by the same 2.0-litre EcoBlue turbo-diesel engine that is BS6 compliant and is capable of churning out a maximum power of 170 HP at 3500 rpm and a peak torque of 420 Nm at 2000-2500 rpm. The engine is mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission.
Some of the key highlights of the Ford Endeavour Sport include an ebony black front grille with a mesh pattern, Sport decal on the doors, smoked headlamps, ebony black rear-view mirrors, premium all-black alloy wheels, black inserts in the front bumper, a black stripe on the boot with Endeavour engraving, black inserts in the rear bumper, ebony black roof rails, black ‘Endeavour’ badge on the front fenders, and a chrome-finish ‘Sport’ badge on the lower-left side of the boot.
Ford Endeavour Sport is available in three colours: Absolute Black, Diffused Silver, and Diamond White. In terms of features, the SUV comes equipped with LED headlamps, hands-free tailgate opening, cruise control, panoramic sunroof, powered front seats, an 8.0-inch touchscreen, dual-zone climate control, hands-free parking, Ford's Terrain Management system, seven airbags, ESC, traction control, tyre pressure monitoring system, hill descent control and more.
