Keeway SR 125's design language is quite simple and it is inspired by the legendary Yamaha RX100. It comes with a tear-drop-shaped 14.5-litre fuel tank. The compact side panel forms most of the bodywork. There is a small halogen headlight with a single-pod colour digital display. The single-piece tan brown seat adds a touch of contrast. The tail section is very compact, with a tiny fender and a round tail light and indicators.

A 125cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine powers the Keeway SR125. This BS6-compliant engine produces a max power of 9.7 hp and a peak torque of 8.2 Nm. Keeway SR125 produces less power than Honda Shine or TVS Raider, but it also weighs more at 120kg.

Keeway SR125 has a single down tube frame which carries the structure. The telescopic fork and 5-step adjustable twin shock absorbers support the suspension system. The bike comes with 17-inch wire-spoke wheels and dual-purpose tyres. A 300mm front disc and a 210mm disc at the rear handle braking duties. 300mm disc size may appear somewhat excessive for a 125cc, sub-10 hp motorcycle.

Keeway SR125 is available in three colours at all Keeway dealerships in India: Glossy White, Glossy Red, and Glossy Black.

Keeway SR125 will go against Bajaj Pulsar 125, Honda Shine, Honda SP125, and TVS Raider. These motorcycles undercut Keeway in price, it will be interesting to see how it fairs. Keeway SR125 is in the same price range as the TVS Apache RTR 160 and Yamaha FZ series.
