The customers can connect their smartphone with the new display setup via the dedicated TVS Connect application, which is available on the iOS App store as well as on the Google Play store. The brand has equipped the application with multiple features which further includes turn-by-turn navigation, call and SMS notification, lean angle mode, crash alert, tour mode, race telemetry and more. The Race Telemetry feature is further used to specify the ride dynamics and data collected after every ride. In addition to this, the crash alert is triggered whenever the chances of a fall are sensed by the application. The crash alert system further sends the rider’s exact location to the pre-defined emergency contact numbers within just 180 seconds. Apart from the new Bluetooth-enabled console, the brand has also replaced the standard chain with a golden-colour chain on the updated model of the RTR 200 4V. Mechanically, there are no changes and the motorcycle continues to be powered by the 197.7cc single-cylinder BS4-compliant oil-cooled engine.
