Royal Enfield 650 Twins Price Announced: Royal Enfield Interceptor INT 650 and Continental GT 650 are now available on display in Australia. The bikes are said to be priced around AUD 10,000 (INR 5 lakh approx) for INT 650 and AUD 10,400 (INR 5.25 lakh approx) for GT 650. The motorcycles have been made in Chennai and will enter Australia through CBU route. It seems like Australian market does not have such huge import tax number as India. These two will be their flagship global products and official launch will first take place in Europe. The 650 range is expected to carry a price tag of around INR 3.50 lakh in India. [caption id="" align="alignnone" width="1000"] Royal Enfield Interceptor 650[/caption] Royal Enfield is using a powerful 648cc, twin cylinder oil cooled motor producing 47 HP at 7100 rpm and 52 Nm at 4000 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed, slipper clutch assisted gearbox. Equipment on offer includes 41mm front forks, twin gas charged rear shocks, ABS equipped disc brakes and Pirelli tyres. These were built exclusively for markets with more demand of powerful twin cylinder machines and thus, India would not be the most preferred market for Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650. Still, it will affect the market share of Harley and Triumph in India.
