Husqvarna Svartpilen 200 India Launch This Year: Husqvarna entered the Indian market by launching two motorcycles - Vitpilen 250 and Svartpilen 250 back in February 2020. Both the motorcycles are based on the KTM Duke 250. In addition to this, the brand is now planning to launch its first 200cc bike, the Husqvarna Svartpilen 200 in India later this year. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The braking duties on the 200c Husqvarna are handled by a 300mm disc brake at the front and a 230mm disc brake at the rear. One can expect the brand to offer the motorcycle with a 2-channel BOSCH ABS as standard. The suspension bits on the motorcycles also remains identical to the Svartpilen 250 and are catered by 43mm upside telescopic forks at the front while the rear features an adjustable monoshock unit. The brand has equipped the motorcycle with the same round all-digital instrument console identical to the one offered on the 250cc variants. The motorcycle also features an under-belly exhaust unit, opposite the side-mounted exhaust offered on the Svartpilen 401. Once launched in India, the Husqvarna Svartpilen 200 is expected to undercut the KTM Duke 200 by around INR 15,000, which currently sells in the market at a price tag of INR 1.82 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi).
