Honda 2-Wheelers India registered 3,94,246 units in November 2018. The fall in sales was quite visible at 8.8%, leaving Honda struggling with the number of scooters sold during the 30-day period. The most effective product, Honda Activa, also failed to win over its archrival Splendor. The downfall is clearly visible with the Cliq and Navi, with the latter posting just 1 unit in sales and hinting at an unexpected halt in production. The Honda Shine saves motorcycle segment with 70,803 units in sales while Dream and Unicorn series further added bulk to the number by fetching 16,734 and 23,402 units respectively. Unfortunately, only Africa Twin was able to bring 4 units in the CBU section sales. Honda is India’s second largest brand by sales volume but their decline in sales made them closer to the number posted by TVS Motors than Hero Motocorp. Honda Dio is one bestseller with 38,484 units while the drop in sales was also visible for Livo 110, xBlade 160 and CB Hornet 160R. The Unicorn 160 posted zero sales for November 2018.
