Hero MotoCorp has officially confirmed that Hero HX250R launch plans have been shelved and the brand won't be launching the much-awaited 250cc full-faired sport bike in India. This comes as a huge disappointment for Hero fans who were waiting for the bike from past 2-3 years!
As per a recent interview with Times of India, Hero MotoCorp made it clear that the market for 250cc sport bikes is more or less dead and they will now focus on an all-new 300cc full-faired sport bike. As per the statement given by the company official: “It doesn’t make a wise decision to come up with a bike that in the end does not really hit the centre-of-gravity of the market where you are going enter as a new competitor in a new segment.”
