Harley-Davidson Bronx 975 has been recently revealed by the brand at the EICMA 2019. The production variant of the Streetfighter 975 concept, Bronx has been equipped with a 975cc Revolution Max engine that is bound to offer optimum performance. The DOHC 60-degree, V-Twin, liquid-cooled engine is capable of generating a maximum power figure of 115HP and a peak torque of 95Nm. Thus one can expect the motorcycle to lock horns with the Yamaha MT-09 considering the same power output though, the Harley-Davidson Bronx 975 generates more torque by a total of 10%. Article image Coming to the suspension setup, the duties are handled by fully-adjustable forks at the front while the rear has been equipped with a monoshock unit. The Harley-Davidson Bronx 975 has been equipped with disc brakes at either side mated to monoblock four-piston Brembo callipers as standard. The brand has further equipped the motorcycle with chunkier Michelin tyres. The electronic package equipped on the motorcycle remains to be identical to the one offered on the current-day modern sports bikes, powered by an inertial measurement unit (IMU), capable of offering traction control, cornering ABS, cruise control and more. Article image Coming to the design, the retro-modern street bike design is accentuated by the red and black colour scheme. The brand has equipped the motorcycle with a round LED headlamp unit while the chunkier fuel tank complements its style. The use of a coloured TFT display with navigation is a plus for the sports machine. The Harley-Davidson Bronx streetfighter is expected to launch by the end of the year 2020 and the pricing will be revealed at the time of the official launch. The Milwaukee-based manufacturer is planning to expand its portfolio with the addition of 9 streetfighters, two adventure tourers as well as five custom motorcycles by the year 2022.
