CFMoto is the next big brand to enter India officially and they’re testing their potential products before localization. The brand earlier tried entering India through collaboration with Eider Motors, but that plan failed miserably as the dealers filed a case against the Eider brand for cheating. The second inning is expected to be really effective as the brand will now focus on premium products instead of the entry-level options presented earlier. CFMoto was founded in 1989 and retails a wide range of products from a different genre of bikes, all-terrain vehicles, and engines in China. As per the latest details available, CFMoto will launch 4 new motorcycles in India next month. The four potential products from CFMoto are 300NK, 650NK, 650GT, and 650MT. The first two belong to the streetfighter category while the last two are adventure tourers based on the same displacement streetfighter. The Indian fans have already spotted 650MT on the roads while it seems like 650NK may not need rigorous testing as it is based on the 650MT model. CFMoto is using a variety of components on various models, leaving some with USD forks while others getting conventional forks. The launch of 400NK has been delayed and it will now enter India at a later stage. The most powerful options are 650MT, 650GT, and 650NK, using the same 649cc engine but producing different levels of power and torque. The most powerful option is the touring variant as it needs to pull more weight in the form of fairing and accessories. CFMoto uses components from reliable brands like Bosch and thus, expecting a clean brand identity with good built quality won’t be wrong. However, they have mentioned that specifications may change with different markets. Everything will be cleared once the CFMoto website goes live in India in the coming days. The brand is planning to open 5-6 dealerships across the county next month.
