Benelli has been through numerous ups and downs in the last decade, leaving them with varying brand identity in different markets. In some of them, they are still considered an important superbike manufacturer and fans eagerly wait for their revival through new products and important announcements. EICMA 2018 gave them another chance to prove the worth, which they definitely took with their production-ready streetfighter. 2019 Benelli 752S is ready to rock, bringing worthy competition to models like Ducati Monster 797 with a twin-cylinder engine under both options. The parallel twin engine is quite impressive in itself. The engine brings 66.4 Nm of torque, helping with an abundance of pulling power for this 228 kg motorcycle that has a 14.4-litre fuel carrying capacity. The wet weight includes this amount of fuel but still, the overall weight is quite more than motorcycles of this segment. Even those carrying bigger 900cc engines are available with a wet weight of under 210 kg. The cost-effective steel trellis chassis with added steel plates add to the overall weight of the Benelli 752S. It comes with 17-inch wheels at both the ends. As Benelli has always placed itself as a cost-effective brand in comparison to Ducati and MV Agusta, getting a decently lower price is the reality. The headlight comes with dual projectors and unique shape for attracting more buyers while frame seems to carry the most common design for street bikes. Still, the powerful front and rear braking, along with massive tires make Benelli 752S an attractive option. It even comes with a praiseworthy exhaust system with metallic-finished muffler and black pipes coming out of the engine. Benelli 752S is expected to launch in India later this year.
