DSK Benelli, the Indian arm of the premium Italian street bikes registered 711 units being sold in the period of October-December 2016. Benelli's highest number of bikes were sold in the month of October (337 units). The festive season was a great time for Benelli while November and December saw the effect of demonetization with drastic fall in sales (193 units in November and 181 units in December). The maximum sale is expected to come from TNT25, TNT300 and TNT600i in India.

Benelli TNT 25
Benelli TNT 600i
The second most popular model from the brand is TNT600i. It comes with a 600 cc, inline-4 engine that is good for 83.90 BHP at 11500 rpm and 54.6 Nm at 10500 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. It weighs quite high at 231 kg while claims a top speed of 221 kmph. It carries a 15 liter fuel tank while comes with a price tag of INR 5.73 lakh. The model now comes with switch-able dual channel ABS as standard. Benelli's lowest selling model includes the mighty TNT899 and TNT R as both are high end and carry large displacement 3-cylinder engines. Benelli is working on three international models named Tornado 302R, TRK 502 and Leoncino. All of these fall in between the 300-500 cc segment and could help the company drive the sales up by a good margin. Not just that, the lineup would then fill up the large gap that is present between TNT300 and 600i. Know more about Benelli TNT lineup here - http://autos.maxabout.com/bikesAd
