As we all know, homegrown two-wheeler maker Bajaj Auto and UK-based motorcycle brand, Triumph Motorcycles, are working in collaboration to build premium affordable bikes for the country.

After a wait of two years, the Indian market is finally going to get new motorcycles from this project. Recently, the Bajaj-Triumph motorcycles were spotted testing abroad, and through the spy shots, the motorcycles appear to be in close to production form.

Further scrutinising the spy shots, we see that the forthcoming motorcycles will be powered by a single-cylinder engine. Although the capacity is not confirmed yet, we can anticipate these to be around 300-400cc and, with this capacity, these are going to rival the Royal Enfiled’s Meteor 350 and Hunter 350.

Also, the spy shot indicates that among these two motorcycles, one would be equipped with 17-inch wheels, while the other would be a scrambler-styled bike with 19/17-inch wheels.

Moreover, speaking of the design and styling of the upcoming bikes, the smaller bikes are going to feature retro styling. On the other hand, scrambler-styled bikes are getting knuckle guards and distinctive split-style exhaust canisters.

As for more features, these motorcycles are most likely to feature USD forks, a TFT instrument cluster, and all-LED lighting. It’s also worth mentioning here that Bajaj and Triumph are going to offer these bikes as premium models but also at affordable prices.

As far as the pricing and launch of these bikes are concerned, we can anticipate the bikes to be launched in Inda later this year. In terms of pricing, the Bajaj-Triumph collaboration may offer the bikes at a price range between Rs 2.50-3.50 lakh. These bikes, designed by Triumph and manufactured by the Indian Bajaj Auto, were supposed to be introduced in the country in 2022, but they were delayed due to the COVID-19 breakout.
