Why does Honda not update the design of the Shine 125 to a great extent for years?
The Honda Odyssey Shine 125 has been sporting the same design for quite some time now with minor cosmetic changes. If Honda is being realistic, it will take some time for the Shine to make it big at a time when competitors are constantly updating their models with new design and features. Is this a case of deliberate strategy to keep the bike as iconic as it can be, or is it complacency? Familiar design is part of its appeal to some and falling behind the times to others. Does it remain popular with younger riders because of the lack of major design changes? Does it make any sense to keep the design consistent year after year? Please let’s take a look at the possible reasons Honda had to design the Shine the way they did and examine its impact on the bike’s market position.

Perhaps they’re concentrating on perfecting the internals rather than flashy designs?
