What is the approx. mileage of Mahindra Major?

The Mahindra Major comes with a powerful & fuel efficient MDI 3200 engine, returning a mileage of around 10-12 kmpl. The gearbox on the same is a 5-speed unit and it was retailed before the introduction of Thar to the Indian market. The Jeep was the best off-road vehicle of its time and came with features like radial tyres and a soft top for easy use and removal. It came with front disc brakes whereas the rear were drum brake units. The car had no features for comfort enhancement and came without power steering. It came with a price tag of INR 5,10,000 when last sold from the showrooms, which was quite big amount for that time.
