What does the new design of the R1300GSA do to its iconic 'adventure bike' look?
For a long time, BMW GS series has been well known for its geo specific distinctive look in adventure bike art including its rugged and purposeful traits which has become icon in the motorcycle world. The R1300GS Adventure, released by BMW, brings some major changes in the design. The new bodywork is more streamlined and modern, with a new LED headlight arrangement. Enthusiasts have been discussing this design evolution, wondering if the R1300GSA remains faithful to the classic GS or veers too far from its origins. The new design has its advocates who believe it has improved the bike's aggressive stance and function, but detractors who think it's losing some of the charm that made the GS range so recognizable and lovable.

Change is good! The new design no longer looks like a 'tractor' as some used to call the older models, but is more purposeful.

The redesign has gone too far. That unique GS character is lost, something which it had in spades and separated it from other adventure bikes.

The new look is fantastic. It’s unmistakably a GS, but brought into the 2020s.

I'm on the fence. I’ve come around to it but I do miss some of the classic GS styling cues.

It's a natural evolution. It is more aerodynamic, more functional, and that is what adventure riding is all about.

They've ruined it. Now the R1300GSA looks like a street bike too much. It lost its rugged, go anywhere appeal.

I love the new design! It's more modern, more aggressive, and it fits the bike.
