Is the Pulsar N125 a good platform for customization?

by Ashutoshover 1 year ago0 views7 comments
Modding has always been strong with the Pulsar series, but how does the N125 stack up in this regard? There are some riders who love to personalize their ride for performance gains, better looks or improved comfort. However, with the N125 being an entry level model, are there enough aftermarket parts out there? What about the warranty implications of modifications? The question is also there, whether modding a 125cc makes sense when you can just upgrade to a higher displacement bike? On the other hand, mods may be more beneficial to a lighter bike. I'd love to hear from riders who have customized their N125s, what worked, what didn't and was it worth the effort and expense?

Modding is fun, but be careful. Also, some mods will void your warranty, and you shouldn’t chance that on a new bike.

Basic mods are well received by the N125. A good air filter and exhaust combo can wake it up a little bit.

I've put a few mods on it, like a slip on exhaust and LED lights. Without breaking the bank, it’s made the bike feel more personal.

Great platform to learn about bike mods. The first step is to start small with levers and grips and then work your way up to performance mods.

I would be honest and save the mod money and put it on a bigger bike. On a 125cc the gains are minimal.

I've seen some beautifully customized N125s. It’s all about creativity and you don’t need a massive amount of aftermarket parts.

As mods, it's decent, but not great. Nothing too crazy, but there are some basic performance parts available.
