Is the Pulsar AS250 too expensive for what you get?

Motorcycle enthusiasts have been discussing the pricing of the Pulsar AS250. For some, especially those who don't want to spend too much money on the phone, the Motorola Moto X Pure Edition is valued for the features and performance it entails, while for others it's overpriced for its class. Most of the debate revolves around if the bike is worth the cost in terms of build quality, technology and overall ride experience. It is often in comparison to other 250cc bikes or with Bajaj’s own dual sports itself. Riders also share their thoughts on whether the 'adventure sports' positioning warrants the price premium over more run of the mill 250cc motorcycles. Questions around this bike sometimes lead to broader pricing strategy discussions in the Indian motorcycle market and what consumers expect at lower or higher price points.

It is expensive, compared to other Pulsars, but fairly reasonable when you consider the whole package and versatility.

The bike’s unique positioning justifies the price. In this segment, there aren’t many “adventure sports” options.

Priced okay for what it is, but Bajaj could have undercut the competition and taken market share instead.

I believe one gets what one pays for with a 250cc single and I believe it's overpriced. It should've been at least 10k cheaper to be competitive.

If you consider Bajaj brand value and service network, pricing is fair. The value of peace of mind is worth something.

It's a bit overpriced. For similar money you can get bikes that are better equipped from other brands.

The AS250 is reasonably priced for the features it offers. It gives you a versatile bike that can be used in city and highway too.
