Is the new Maruti Swift Sport available with AMT?

The Swift is currently available without an AMT while the next generation is expected to carry a traditional automatic gearbox as an option as stock. The Dzire uses an AMT in the diesel engine and the same can even be introduced at any stage of the car's remaining life cycle. The introduction of Suzuki Baleno has highly effected the sales of Swift as well as Dzire as both the cars are lesser equipped and practically low in power than the premium hatchback. All of them are powered by the same 1.2 L petrol and 1.3 L diesel engines while the difference in weight makes all the difference.
