Is the MG Hector Plus really a true 7 seater SUV?
by Ashutoshover 1 year ago0 views7 comments
The MG Hector Plus is advertised as a 7 seater SUV, but there has been a lot of talk about how practical that 3rd row actually is. There are some owners who praise the extra seating capacity for occasional use and there are those who say it’s too cramped for adults to sit in. A nice feature is the adjustable middle row, but does it really make up for the tight space in the back? Also, there are questions about cargo space when all seats are used. If this is the main vehicle you are thinking of using for road trips and daily use, it’s important to understand the reality of using that third row. In comparison to other 7 seater in the segment, how comfortable and usable it is?

The third row has been more useful as extra cargo space than as seating. I don’t use it for passengers very often, but it’s nice to have the option.

I'm someone who uses all seven seats all the time for my family and it works. Your mileage may vary based on passenger sizes and trip lengths, but.

The game changer is an adjustable middle row. It's more versatile than some competitors because you can balance legroom between the second and third rows.

I think it’s a bit of a stretch to call it a 7 seater. But it's great for 5 adults and maybe 2 kids in the back.

None of these SUVs in this price range have a third row that's truly comfortable. Given its size constraints, the Hector Plus does a fair job.

The third row was surprisingly usable. It's not limo like, but when we need extra seats for family outings, it's been a lifesaver.

Honestly, its more like a 5+2 seater. The third row is good for kids or short trips, but I wouldn’t want to be back there for hours.
