For many years now, the Bajaj Pulsar 150 has been noted for its fuel efficiency, with many owners and reviewers calling it the bike's strongest selling point. The company claims a mileage of about 50 kmpl which is great for a 150cc motorcycle. But there's still debate about whether these figures hold in real world circumstances. While some riders say they have been able to get close to the claimed mileage, others say they struggle to cross 40 kmpl especially in city traffic. Many things can affect fuel efficiency, including your riding style, how well you maintain your bike, and in some cases even motorcycle mods like aftermarket exhaust. And there’s also the question of whether we’ve been so focused on fuel efficiency that we’ve compromised performance or features.
