For taller riders, how does the KTM RC 890 handle?

Sport bikes, designed for average-height riders, can vary greatly in motorcycle ergonomics and can be challenging for taller riders. It’s also worth noting that the compact, aggressive design of the KTM RC 890 might make it a less-than-perfect fit for riders of above-average height. I was curious to know what taller riders (6'2" and above) have to say about the RC 890. It talks about things such as knee positioning, reach to handlebars, overall comfort during long rides, and whether any modifications need to be made to fit on a bigger frame. It could also discuss how the bike's handling would differ for taller riders and whether it would result in a higher center of gravity.

With some ergonomic mods, it’s doable. Stock, however, is a bit of a squeeze if you’re over 6 feet.

I tried it and gave up. And went for a bigger bike instead. We tall folk just aren't made for some bikes.

I’m a tall guy, and I actually like the compact feel. In the twisties it makes me feel more in control.

It is definitely for shorter riders. Mine had to be modified quite a bit in order to be comfortable.

I'm 6'2", and I'm okay with short rides; anything over an hour and I get cramped.

It may take some time to fit for tall riders, but there are a ton of aftermarket options to make it fit better.

It's snug, but not impossible; I'm 6'4". The rear sets helped a lot with knee comfort.
