Does the Alcazar make sense in terms of the Creta's premium features compared to the Alcazar's price?
The Hyundai Alcazar, priced higher than the Creta, is more upmarket offering than the Creta. The Creta comes with a few premium features which aren't there on the Creta including a 360 degree camera, ventilated front seats and a bigger infotainment screen. Car buyers are, however, split on whether these extra features, and the third row of seats, are worth the substantial price difference between the two models. They say the Alcazar delivers a more luxurious and versatile package at a cost justifiably higher, other contend that the basic experience isn't distinct enough from the Creta to justify the premium. However, this also brings into the broader scope of the topic of value perception in today’s automotive market, and how much consumers are willing to pay for extra features and space.

I think Hyundai set the price point wrong. To make this a no brainer upgrade, the Alcazar should be closer to the Creta. With its current price point it's up against some serious players who provide more bang for the buck.

I cross shopped both and ended up with the Alcazar because of this. They do make a difference in day to day use. It’s things like the ventilated seats and wireless charging that add up and make for a better ownership experience.

It depends on what you value. If you want the extra seats, and you like having all the latest tech, then yeah, it's worth it. If all you are looking for is a comfortable 5 seater SUV, the Creta is definitely a better value for money.

No way. It’s just too much of a price difference for what you get. All of the "premium" features are just gimmicks. If you want luxury, you’re better off saving the cash and getting a top spec Creta or moving up to a proper premium brand.

Absolutely! The Creta feels like an upgrade, and the Alcazar feels like a proper upgrade. The 360-degree camera alone is a game changer for parking in tight spots. It also feels much more premium, thanks to the larger infotainment screen, and the digital instrument cluster.
