Do families find the Nissan Juke's interior space a deal breaker?

by Ashutoshover 1 year ago0 views7 comments
Nissan Juke's compact dimensions and unique styling has raised a few eyebrows asking about its practicality for families. Though marketed as a crossover SUV, the inside really isn't much different than a subcompact car. Limited rear seat legroom and cargo space didn’t win any prizes either. It has caused debate about whether the Juke is actually suitable as a family car or whether it's more for single drivers or couples without children. The tight interior is necessary, some say, for the Juke's city friendly exterior size and unique styling; others say it doesn't deliver on the basic utility promised by an SUV, even a small one. Most of the debate revolves around whether the Juke's idiosyncratic character and driver experience sits sufficient to overcome its inconvenience in family situations.

For me, the space is more than enough as a single person. Not every family needs a car. There are some of us who like a compact, stylish ride.

It’s a blessing in disguise that there’s not enough space. It makes you declutter and bring only what you really need. It’s wheels, minimalism.

I have two kids, we do just fine. It's tight on long trips, but it's just fine for daily use. And it’s much easier to park than a larger SUV.

Those who buy a Juke understand what they're buying. It’s not a family hauler, that’s for sure. For people who want something fun and different, and don't mind giving up some space.

The interior space is a joke. There isn’t enough room in the trunk for my groceries, never mind camping gear or sports equipment. This crossover was crossed over into uselessness.

Small kids or pets is fine. A huge SUV is not always the case for every family. For young city families who don't want to drive boats, the Juke is perfect.

Absolute deal-breaker. A car seat wouldn't fit in the back and it was a nightmare. Nissan forgot people have kids or friends or, you know, things.
