Could the Avenger 180 be made into an electric model?

As electrification becomes the trend of the automotive industry, the idea of an electric Avenger has begun to excite motorcycle fanatics. The Avenger's simple design and cruiser styling could play well to an electric powertrain. That said, battery placement, weight distribution, and preserving the character of the bike would all have to be dealt with. This question investigates how far, how fast, and how well an electric Avenger 180 could work, for both traditional Avenger fans and the new electric vehicle enthusiast.

I'd love to see it happen! An electric cruiser with instant torque to imagine. That could alter the way people think about electric bikes and cruisers. If they wanted to, Bajaj could really innovate here.

That's an interesting idea, but I don't think Bajaj would do it. Instead of messing with the Avenger's legacy, they'd probably come up with a new electric model from scratch.

I'm skeptical, but curious. The problem would be to keep the weight down and the range up. But if they can get that right, and price it right, it could be a game changer for electric cruisers in India.

No way, man. There is no soul to the Avenger than the thumping engine. If it’s electric, you may as well not call it a car. It'd lose all its character.

An electric Avenger? That could be pretty cool! A relaxed riding position would go nicely with the smooth power delivery of an electric motor. And imagine how quiet and vibration free those cruises would be too!
