Could Bajaj have missed a trick in not offering more color options for the Discover 100 5G?

The Bajaj Discover 100 5G was available in not too many options as far as colors are concerned, compared to some of the other bikes in the same segment. Bajaj did have a couple of options, but those were pretty conservative colours like black, blue and red. Other brands were experimenting with bolder, more diverse color palettes to appeal to younger buyers, but this approach stood in contrast to that. Others said the Discover could have stood out more in the market by offering more vibrant or different colors, attracting a broader customer base. Some said the bike's conservative design philosophy was reflected in the limited color options. Debates were had about whether more color choices would have extended the model's lifespan or if it would have made much of a sales difference. Did Bajaj fail to adequately appreciate the role that color plays in the buying decision, particularly for younger riders, or was Bajaj's color strategy consistent with the Discover's target market?

It was a missed opportunity for limited colors. Small tweaks visually can make a huge difference in this segment.

They played it safe with colors, I think, hoping to reach a broader audience. Smart move, in my opinion.

It wouldn't have made a difference if it had more colors. More than just a paint job was needed to make the bike succeed.

The bike's image is conservative colors. Not everything needs to be a neon green bike.

The color options were boring. A little variety helps you stand out.

I wish I had a matte finish option. It could’ve been made to look more premium.

It might have been that a wider color range would have increased sales. Everyone wants to personalize their rides.

The limited colors were fine. This is a commuter bike, not something I would want to be seen on.

They definitely missed out. If it had been a bit more colourful it might have appealed more to younger riders.

It would have been nice to have more colors, but it wasn’t a deal breaker. The bike's performance mattered more.
