Can you really live with the Aeroride Bravo NM as your everyday ride?

by Sukhmandeep Kaurover 1 year ago0 views10 comments
With an increasing number of people enthusiastic about adopting electric vehicles, therefore, riders are finding themselves debating ditching their traditional petrol powered motorcycles to take up electric ones, such as the Aeroride Bravo NM. Some questions about the practicality and convenience of this transition are raised. Can the Bravo NM really be all things to all people? How do you handle different riding scenarios, short city hops, or longer weekend rides? Is using an electric bike as regular transportation as it sounds like? How does the cost of ownership stack up to that of a petrol bike once you factor in electricity costs, maintenance, and investing in potentially replacing the battery? So let’s see what riders who have made the switch think about the Bravo NM and whether or not it can handle the rigors of daily use.

It’s dependent on your lifestyle, I think. It's perfect if you're mostly a city rider. If you travel highway stretches often, however, you may find it limiting.

It’s hugely underrated. It's just so much easier to keep running: no oil changes, no tune ups.

It is perfect as a daily driver. I kept my petrol bike for those rare long distance tours. Best of both worlds!

It’s also one unexpected benefit: it’s so much easier to filter through traffic. It is the perfect mobility on an instant torque and will appeal to entry level buyers looking for nimble handling in city riding.

I'd say it's about 90% there. What I miss is that I can no longer refuel quickly on long trips. Charging still takes a while.

The cost savings are real. The only thing is that my electricity bills have gone up slightly, but not by a lot and nowhere near what I used to spend on petrol.

The good thing is that it’s great for daily use, but you do need to plan your trips more carefully. Spontaneous long rides without checking charging points are a thing of the past.

At first I was sceptical but after a few weeks I don't miss my petrol bike at all. Home charging is a game changer.

For city use, definitely. However, it’s still a bit of a challenge for longer trips or in areas where there’s limited charging infrastructure.

Absolutely! I’ve been riding my Bravo NM everyday for my daily commutes and weekend rides for months now. It’s capable of replacing a petrol bike and more.
