A skilled driver is the best mod for a Vantage. Handle what it has first before you try to add more power.

If you know where to look, there are some great options out there. Ecu tunes and exhaust systems are what Velocity AP does amazing work with.

The tuning scene is growing. Now more companies are offering parts, but you have to be careful not to change the character of the car.

Forgetting about aftermarket, go with the factory upgrades. There are plenty of options to personalize your car without voiding the warranty at Aston.

Honestly, there isn’t a huge aftermarket scene compared to something like a 911. That's part of the charm though, keeps the car more exclusive.

I’ve seen some tastefully modded Vantages. A good exhaust and a few subtle wheel upgrades really make the car without going crazy.

I get about 15 mpg but I can’t bring myself to drive it any slower than I do, and I enjoy the sound of that V8 too much. Worth every drop of fuel!

Driving is everything. And it's reasonable to treat it like a normal car. Drive it the way it should be driven and your local gas station attendant will be your new best friend.

The Vantage actually feels efficient coming from a Mustang GT. I suppose it’s just all about perspective.

It’s not about making massive gains in power, it’s about perfecting what’s already there. Some of the quirks of the stock setup can be smoothed out with a good tune.

How fun are you having is directly related to fuel economy. More smiles per gallon!

Why do you want to tune an Aston? It's perfect as it is. Everything else is destroying a work of art.

Terrible in the city, surprisingly decent on long trips. However, we all know you’re not buying a Vantage to save on gas.

Not as bad as you would expect. In mixed driving I average about 18 mpg. Gentle driving can put it over 20 mpg on highway trips.

Who cares about fuel economy in an Aston? If you’re afraid of gas prices, you shouldn’t be so afraid of them that you bought the wrong car.

My friend’s 911 has had more issues than my Vantage. The important thing is, how do you sustain it? Plus, it's way more exclusive.

It's a trade-off. It doesn’t have soul, but it is user friendly. It depends on what you value more in a daily driver.

For daily use, I would trust the Porsche over the Aston any day reliability wise. Less headaches, more driving.

While the Germans may be more practical, they are also more common. There is no feeling like driving something special every day.

I have no problem with my Vantage that I daily. It’s not as comfortable as an AMG GT, but that’s not why you buy an Aston, yeah. It's about the experience.

German rivals win hands down. The infotainment is ancient on the Vantage, and good luck finding a cup holder that works.

Aston’s Vantage is, surprisingly, quite practical. It’s not as refined as a 911 for sure, but it has character that the Germans simply can’t match.
