At this intemperate price should you be prepared to put up with the Apollo IE’s exclusivity?
But, the jaw dropping price tag of around $2.7 million, places the Apollo IE amongst some of the most expensive hypercars available. It's also one of the rarest, with just 10 units planned for production. Often, this meld of extreme performance, unique design, and limited availability is used to rationalize hypercar prices that are astronomical. But it does also call into question the real worth of vehicles like these. Are we really buying the real innovation and engineering excellence or just buying into the exclusivity and bragging rights? It also the question of whether these mega expensive, ultra rare hypercars are doing anything to advance the automotive genre or is it all just a toy for the incredibly wealthy.

Engineering and materials alone probably make up for half the price. The rest is for exclusivity.

You can’t justify it really, but that’s the spirit of the hypercar market. It's not about rationality.

They don’t give a hoot about the price for the target market. That’s about owning something no one else in the world will ever have.

I think it's overpriced. It’s just the badge and exclusivity, you’re paying a premium for.

Crazy price but that’s what makes it special. It’s not designed to be accessible.

If you looked at it as an investment, you justified it. Few of these limited run cars fail to appreciate in value.

No way. For that amount of money, you could buy a fleet of supercars just as much fun to drive.

Absolutely. So you’re not just buying a car, you’re buying a piece of automotive art.
