Mahindra & Mahindra has launched a new compact saloon, Verito Vibe, in Indian market on 5th June, 2013. It is based on the Verito sedan, which was sold as Logan before. Verito Vibe is available in only diesel for now. It is available in seven shades and three variants: D2, D4 and D6. The price of base diesel model is INR 5.63 lakhs and the top model is available for INR 6.49 lakhs. The prices mentioned are ex-showroom Mumbai. It will compete with the likes of other compact entry-level sedans like Maruti Suzuki Swift DZire, Honda Amaze and Tata Indigo e-CS. Mahindra has given looks of a hatchback to the Verito Vibe but it is a compact saloon.

Mahindra Verito Vibe has been developed in-house and features familiar front-end, which has been carried over from the Verito. The rear design of Verito Vibe is quite unique featuring huge tail lamps and raked rear windscreen. The hinges of the boot have been placed the bottom of the rear windscreen.

The interiors of Verito Vibe are almost same like the sedan version, which means you get decent legroom, headroom and shoulder room. It is one of the most spacious cars in its segment. The only downside will be the overall build quality, the problem Mahindra faces with all of its products in India.
